The Currency of Caring is a simple way of making a tangible difference in someone’s life who may be struggling with food insecurity or other hardships. With this program, patrons can purchase a unique token and gift those in need with a hot meal redeemable at any of our participating restaurants or food truck community partners. The Currency of Caring tokens can be purchased online or at any of our food trucks or restaurants. Join us in our mission to deliver dignity, love, and respect to those in need in our community.
How it Works
The Basics
The Currency of Caring provides a safe, simple means for individuals, families, and companies to give fresh, hot, restaurant quality meals to our local neighbors in need.
Free Delicious Food
Each participating food preparer (be it a restaurant or food truck) is paid to prepare and serve anyone who presents a Currency of Caring token with an entree, side and drink of choice, no questions asked.
Watering Food Deserts
Via our Feed Thy Neighbor Program, every time we receive 100 donated tokens, we work with local community leaders to identify people, groups and organizations most in need and deliver 100-125 free, hot, made to order meals in hard to reach communities via our participating food truck partners.
Feed It Forward
As part of our mission to strengthen communities, we also empower local law enforcement, first responders, and military leaders with Currency of Caring tokens so they can provide free hot meals to those in need, fostering support and nourishment where it’s needed most.
